Game Reschedule Process
Rescheduling a game requires a multi-step process including the “Home Association”, “Home District” and the JGHSL. It is the responsibility of the Home Team to manage the process, regardless of who causes the game to be rescheduled. Below is a brief description of the process required for the each involved entity.
1. Home Team – Responsible for managing and complying with all rescheduling requirements.
2. Home Association – The Home Team is responsible for rescheduling ice time consistent with Association requirements.
3. Home District – The Home Team is responsible for rescheduling District Officials consistent with District requirements. Note: Each District has different rescheduling notice requirements.
4. JGHSL – The Home Team is responsible for notifying the JGHSL if a game is rescheduled so the Master Schedule can be updated. All game reschedule notifications must be made using the JGHSL online form.
5. Responsibility for Fee Payments – Generally, the Team causing the rescheduling is responsible for paying incremental rescheduling fees.
6. There will be no forfeits. All League games must be played.
DISTRICT 6 TEAMS - you must include the D6 Arbiter Game number in the Request Note on the JGHSL Game Change form.
1. The Home and Away Schedulers will need to approve the game changes upon submission
2. Once the Schedulers have approved, your District Referee Scheduler will be notified and need to approve the change.
Once the approvals are completed, all parties will receive an email with "APPROVED" in the subject line for this change, and the JGHSL website will be updated automatically.
